Philly

The Jeff and Karen(and Hadley) Show is headed to a new location..

We will be leaving to move to Philadelphia this week. The job contract here did not get extended any further. Most of the work right now is in the Northeast and San Francisco. We don't really want to be taxed at 80 percent by years end so we'll take our chances out the other way : ) We will again be within a days drive and train ride from his kids as well. Our house which is unsellable like everyone elses is also a drive away(along with our dear friends whom we miss). So, while we wait for a bailout we can make the occasional visit.

Neither one of us has ever been to Philadelphia so we are excited. We never, ever, ever gave a place like that any thought at all. We miss living in a city though and this one looks like a lot of fun. There is great transit and we will be in reach of many points beyond as well. All you east coasters--here we come.

Karen is once again making Jeff haul the kid the whole way in his truck as she feels she will surely drive off the road with all that crying that inevitably comes with long trips. Jeff just turns up the radio.

We have been off the air for planning and jobless stress but hope to resume our programming in short order.

Jeff starts the 9th and we hope to find a place to call home before then.

Texas, it was really fun. Thanks for the good times : )

Hadley

Hadley can now point to; when asked, her hair, ears, nose, mouth, elbow(!), hand, belly button and feet. She has found her tongue late in the day so we hope to add this to the list soon!

If someone had told us a year ago we would be spending hours of Super Bowl Sunday to achieve this, we would have laughed.
